about me

Hello! My name is Anna Pinneau, I am an Atlanta based multi-media artist. My current portfolio includes paintings, film photography, and digital photography, but I am always experimenting with new mediums. I’m currently pursuing my bachelor's degree in studio art at Oglethorpe University.
I grew up in a uniquely creative household with two art teachers for parents. This environment instilled within me a constant craving for creative expression. It wasn’t until my third year of college when I didn’t have the option to take a studio art class that I realized how important art is to my self-hood. I see design all around me all the time - in buildings, sidewalks, leaves, rooms, everything. I find inspiration in all of it. I enjoy photography because it lets me capture what I find so interesting about small details, like rust on a bike or the shadow of a leaf. Painting is another medium that is central to my art practice. I enjoy exploring different styles, and I often find it helps me understand myself more. When I'm not painting or taking photos, I'm experimenting with recycled materials, trying to learn a new craft, or taking a snack break.
